ID Sports Limited Acquires CrusaderSports.com

With effect from January 2010, Mr & Mrs David Cooper have decided to take a well earned retirement and the company formally trading as Crusader Sports is to be wound up.

What's Changed?

The Crusader Sports company has not been sold to the ID Sports company however, following negotiations, the CrusaderSports.com website, sales and support operations have moved into the ownership of ID Sports Limited and Duncan Cooper, CrusaderSports.com's sales and support manager, joins us as a full-time partner in the sales and support operations of ID Sports Limited.

The intention is to continue offering fantastic value-for-money sports goods online at CrusaderSports.com for the immediate future, whilst over the coming months moving to the new ID Sports catalogue and online store.

We very much hope that those customers who have supported Crusader Sports over the past 25 years will feel happy to continue to purchase their goods through this site initially and ultimately through the ID Sports company.

ID Sports has been trading since 2008 in sportswear and equipment; school uniforms and sports kit for schools and also corporate clothing. There are therefore many obvious synergies between the two businesses.

Who are ID Sports?

Director: David Keyte.

David is well known in local sporting circles having played football for Hereford United as a teenager in the mid-1970’s and cricket for Worcestershire CCC 2ndXI in the late 70’s. He also represented Herefordshire at Cricket; Football and Rugby. In recent times, David has also made strong links in the Schools community.

Director: Simon Keyte.

Simon is equally well known in local sporting circles, in particular around the Cricket circuit. Simon represented Worcestershire at U19 level and has played successfully in the Birmingham League for Bromsgrove and more recently in the Worcestershire League with Worcester CC.
